Football, DGL, took a moment yesterday in an emotional minutes silence in remembrance of Rogelio Loureda Bello who sadly passed away Thursday evening. Father to our beloved General Secretary Roger who came down to watch the game and ex-player and now staunch supporter Juan Loureda . We also unfortunately received the sad news whilst at the game of the passing of Ahmed El Hanna’s Grandfather in Gibraltar. Ahmed who was in the squad was also at the game ?

May their souls Rest In Peace.

The Game.....Chance after chance in the first half and just couldn’t finish, with some saying “should be 15-0 by now” - Yes it was unfortunately that dire. One mistake in second and was all over. Well done to Cove FC who did well to hold out and win the game.

No complaints despite 2 disallowed goals which you can always debate, but all done and await next week.

DGL2 on the other have secured a 3rd league win and stand top of the pile with max points.

All round a pleasing display from the boys, a clean sheet and 4 goals. Can’t complain here as things looking healthy
