Another Emphatic Result

It’s not often we get to marvel about the football we play, but to do so consistently, so exact, so naturally now and win games is such a huge reward to our coaching staff. We’ve stuck to our principles and playing ethos and the results show.

Tooting Bec was always gonna be a hard game. A team always in the top 3 for last few seasons, scoring goals and wiping teams aside.
On this occasion though, we matched them from the start. Great flowing football that led to the first goal from young starlet and destined for bigger things if he continues - Anas, assisted by a simple one touch pass from the equally formidable Arka.
The home side grabbed an equaliser in the final minutes of the first half following several mistakes from our boys (easily rectified at training ?), can’t happen again!!!!

Sub at halftime as Saj off to work is replaced by Ismael Ricorico and we continued in the same vain as the first. Moving the ball at speed and with precision. On 60mins Juan Devia replaces Mati and starts terrorising the Tooting defence, this boy can play, another great talent. His assist for Anas’ second - wow.

Our 3rd and nail in the coffin was by the fella who wants to score from everywhere, fans favourite Antón Fernández Casal who slots home his penalty right into the bottom corner ?.

Has to be said, another solid from Manu Lamas between the sticks. It’s like having a net in front of the net if you know what I mean.
However, a devastating blow to Dylon Thomas who very unfortunately broke his ankle in two places and requires surgery. This is, in the first place a massive set back for him as a player and a person but also to the Club and his team mates.

Dylon is one of those players that every manager likes to work with. Will Play out of position and not moan, follow instructions, demand from his team mates in games and more importantly at training. A 100% player for the team. Dylon, You will be missed like you don’t know but we will support you through your recovery which can’t come soon enough - Soldier⚽️???
